Abundant Living friends are invited to join Harding University alumni for a 7 day tour of Iceland. This special trip will be a chance to enjoy the best of Harding in one of the places that has become a dear fixture on the International Programs trips over the past decade. Travel with Abundant Living director, Teresa Castleman, and Harding University in Europe directors, Lauren and Tyler Knight, along the Southern Coast of Iceland visiting the most well-known spots including Jokulsarlon Glacier lagoon, Westmann Islands, Black Sands Beaches of Vik, Skogafoss & Gulfoss, and other best-kept secrets that we’ve discovered during our past trips. Expect to connect to others in the Harding community while sharing the gift of experiencing truly magnificent wonders of creation together. You’ll have the option to participate in glacier walks, see lava fields, enjoy whale-watching, relax in thermal lagoons and tour black sand beaches. Plan to fly home refreshed and thankful for new friendships made within the special Harding University community.
This tour will be more physically rigorous than some Abundant Living events. Most tour stops will involve navigating a few stairs and most walking areas will not be paved. Some of the sites will require moderate walks to reach them, such as waterfalls. Hotels all have elevators and onsite restaurants. All excursions are included in the reservation but guests will be responsible for arranging their own airfare to/from Reykjavik.
